Blanchard Roofing That Saves the Roof When It Can Be Saved

Our crews do roof repair, roof replacement, inspections, storm damage repair and gutters for homeowners in Blanchard, Newcastle and Tuttle, and we work on commercial roofs too. We find what actually failed, like soft decking or a split pipe boot, and you get a repair price before anyone mentions tearing the roof off.

Towns We Cover

Blanchard is our home base, and we take residential and commercial jobs in the towns around it, including Newcastle, Tuttle, Goldsby, Moore, Mustang, Chickasha and Noble. The weather is the same across all of them, so the roofs here tend to fail in the same places.

Roofing Services for Your Home and Business

Most leaks start at a few predictable spots: flashing around chimneys and walls, rubber pipe boots that crack in the sun, and shingles lifted by wind until the seal strip lets go. Our roof repair work targets those parts directly. When the field shingles themselves are worn out, a full reroof covers the tear-off, decking, underlayment and new shingles. We also do roof inspections, storm damage repair after hail and wind, gutters, and commercial roof repair and replacement for low-slope buildings.

  • Three roofers tearing off and reshingling a brick ranch home, with a dump trailer of old shingles and bundles of new shingles and underlayment in the driveway

    Roof Replacement

Full tear-off and a new roof system with decking checks, underlayment, flashing and ventilation, recommended only when a repair no longer makes sense.

    Roof Repair

Targeted fixes for leaks, lifted shingles, cracked pipe boots and failed flashing, with a straight answer on whether a repair will actually hold.

  • Roof Inspections

A roof-to-gutter check of shingles, flashing, vents and decking, with photos and a plain answer on whether you need a repair, a replacement or nothing at all.

  • Storm Damage Repair

Hail bruises, creased shingles and dented flashing found, photographed and repaired, with a straight answer on whether your roof needs more than a repair.

  • Gutters

Leaking seams, sagging runs and overflowing downspouts fixed at the cause, with new one-piece gutters only when the old system is past saving.

  • Commercial Roof Replacement

Full tear-off or code-allowed recover of low-slope and metal commercial roofs, decided by core cuts and moisture readings rather than guesswork.

  • Commercial Roof Repair

Leak tracing and targeted repairs for TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up and metal roofs on stores, offices, shops and churches.

A Roofer That Starts With the Repair

Roofing Blanchard works on homes and commercial buildings across the area. Our approach is simple: a lot of roofs come off years early because nobody took the time to find out why they were leaking. A cracked pipe boot that costs little to swap can stain a ceiling just as badly as a worn-out roof.

Oklahoma roofs take a beating from spring hail, straight-line winds and summer heat that bakes asphalt shingles brittle. That's exactly why we check carefully. Some damage is cosmetic, some lets water in, and the difference decides whether you need a repair or a new roof. Our job is to tell you which, explain why, and then do the work properly.

What Sets the Price of a Roofing Job

Two homes of the same size can get very different roofing quotes. The price comes from what sits on and beneath your roof, and part of that only shows once the old shingles are off. Here is what we look at when we put your estimate together.

Each estimate is written line by line once we have seen the roof, with the repair priced by itself and, where it fits, a new roof priced next to it.

How big and steep the roof is
Roofs are measured in squares of 100 square feet each. On a steep pitch, every bundle goes up with harnesses and roof jacks and slower footing, so labor rises even with the same number of squares.
Old layers to strip
A second layer of shingles about doubles the tear-off and haul-away. While measuring, we look at the eaves and rake edges to count the layers.
Shape of the decking
Plywood or OSB that has rotted or come apart gets cut out and replaced before the new shingles go on. We note soft areas at the inspection and list new decking on its own line so you know what it pays for.
Shingles, metal and what goes under them
Most homes get architectural shingles. Class 4 impact-rated shingles and metal panels cost more up front and stand up better to hail. The kind of underlayment, ice and water shield in the valleys and a new drip edge all add to the total.
Flashing, vents and roof openings
Each chimney, skylight, sidewall and plumbing vent needs its own flashing or boot. More openings and more roof planes mean more detail work by hand to seal them.
Permits and getting to the house
When a job needs a permit and inspection, that cost is in the estimate. A tight driveway or no space for a dumpster changes how we bring in materials and take out debris.

How a Roofing Job Runs With Us

Repairs often take a single visit. A reroof follows the same steps, just with more of them.

  1. 1

    You call us

Describe what you've noticed, like a ceiling stain, shingles on the lawn or a gutter coming loose. We ask a few questions and book a time to come out.

  2. 2

Up top and in the attic

We go over the roof, looking at flashing, boots, vents and the shingles, then check the attic for daylight, damp insulation or stained decking. We come down with photos of all of it.

  3. 3

    Written choices

The repair price comes first, and a reroof price only when the roof needs one. We explain why behind each, so the choice is yours and there's no push.

  4. 4

    Doing the work

We cover plants and nearby siding, get any permit the job needs, and complete the work. On a reroof we look over the decking after tear-off and call you before any boards are replaced.

  5. 5

    Walking through the finished job

The remaining debris goes in the trailer and the magnet sweeps the yard once more. Then we show you photos of the finished roof, including the flashing and vents hidden from the ground.

Why Homeowners Call Us First

A roof that's fifteen years old isn't automatically a roof that's finished. We tell you which one you have and show you why.

  1. 01

    The repair gets priced first

If the problem is a few blown-off shingles or a failed boot, we quote that repair on its own. A new roof only comes up when the roof itself, not one part of it, has reached the end.

  2. 02

We name the part that failed

You'll hear exactly what's wrong: step flashing that was never tucked under the siding, nails driven high above the shingle's nail line, or a valley where granules have washed off down to the mat. Knowing the cause tells you whether the fix will last.

  3. 03

Photos of what we see up top

Most people never get on their roof, and they shouldn't have to. We photograph the damage, the worn areas and the parts still in good shape, so you see the same roof we're describing.

  4. 04

A straight answer when repair won't hold

Sometimes patching is throwing money at a roof that's done. Brittle shingles that crack when lifted, widespread hail bruising or decking that flexes underfoot mean repairs will keep failing, and we'll say so plainly.

  5. 05

    Your yard looked after

Tarps go over shrubs and flower beds along the drip line, and old shingles drop straight into a dumpster or trailer. At the end of the job a rolling magnet works across the lawn, beds and driveway to pick up loose nails.

What Homeowners Want to Know

How do you know if I need a repair or a new roof?

It depends on whether the damage sits in one place or runs across the roof. Cracked boots, loose flashing or a lifted patch of shingles can usually be repaired. When shingles crack as they're lifted, granules are gone over large areas or the decking is soft in several places, repairs won't last and a new roof is the better use of money. Either way, you see the photos.

We had hail last week. Should I call my insurer or a roofer first?

Having the roof inspected before you file shows whether there's damage worth a claim. We take photos of bruised shingles, cracked tabs and dented metal and vents so you have something to give your insurer. We can explain how claims usually go, but the adjuster decides what your policy pays for.

Can you patch in a few shingles that blew off?

Most of the time, as long as the shingles around them still bend and we can match the color closely. We raise the rows above, nail the new shingles on the correct nail line and seal the tabs down. If the nearby shingles on an older roof crack when lifted, a patch may cause more damage, and we'll say so.

How long will a full reroof take?

A typical single-family home takes one to two days for tear-off and new roofing, based on its size, pitch and how many layers come off. Weather can move the start, and replacing rotted decking adds time. You'll know the expected schedule before work begins.

What do you look at in a roof inspection?

We go over the shingles, ridge cap, wall and chimney flashing, pipe boots, vents and gutters, then check the underside of the decking in the attic for moisture or light coming through. You get photos and a plain account of what's in good shape, what needs work now and what can wait.

Do you take on commercial roofs?

We do. Our commercial roof repair and commercial roof replacement work covers low-slope and flat roofs. Most problems are ponding water, open seams and flashing that has failed at rooftop units, and we handle them the same way: repair first when the membrane has life left.

Can you take care of the gutters during a roof job?

We can. Overflowing or loose gutters can rot the fascia and send water behind the drip edge, so we check them on every roof visit. We repair or refasten them, or install new gutters and downspouts when the old ones can't be saved.
