What Happens When You Call

We start with a few questions. Where does the water show up, and only after hard rain or wind from one direction? How old is the roof, and is it asphalt shingle, metal or something else? Those answers help us guess whether we are looking at a cracked pipe boot, lifted flashing, hail-bruised shingles or a gutter backing up under the drip edge.

Then we schedule a visit to your home. On the roof we check the field shingles, ridge, valleys, flashing and decking soft spots, and we take photos of what we find. You get a straight answer: if a repair will hold, we recommend the repair, and if the roof is past that point, we explain why replacement makes more sense. We work in Blanchard and nearby towns such as Newcastle, Tuttle and Noble.

What to Have Handy Before You Dial

1. Jot down which rooms show ceiling stains or drips, plus any spots outside where shingles look missing or lifted.
2. Have a rough idea of the roof's age, such as the year you bought your home or the year the shingles went on.
3. For storm damage, note the date of the hail or wind and keep any photos you took from the ground on your phone.
4. If an insurance claim is already open, have the claim number nearby.
